Who I am becoming…

Since finishing grad school, I’ve been trying to find a place in this world where I can be useful and a blessing. I’m a perpetual traveller, just a passenger on this spinning ball. My citizenship is in heaven. So for now I wander the earth as a stranger and a pilgrim, so that is what I am, RagazzAmbulante. A wanderess.

“All journeys have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware.” – Martin Buber

Here o’er the earth as a stranger I roam,
Here there’s no rest, there’s no rest.
Here as a traveler I wander alone,
Yet I am blessed, I am blessed.
For I look forward to that glorious day
When sin and sorrow shall vanish away.
My heart doth leap when I hear Jesus say,
There, there is rest, there is rest.

Hi Lauren, I found your blog by accident and was hoping that maybe you’d remember me, the weird Russian/German exchange student at San Diego High. We lost track of each other ages ago, when you were just going to Italy. I hope you’re doing well and that being an adult is turning out all right for you. 😉 Sending you lots of good wishes from Berlin.
